I got the call from my camera store in Orlando today…they expect my camera to be in next Wednesday! Other stores across the country are reporting receiving their initial shipments of D3’s, with most, if not all, going to preorders. I called and got myself on the preorder list the morning after the product announcement, so I’m not sure what the situation will be for those of you who didn’t get on any lists-who knows, maybe Nikon will be able to produce plenty of them, and everyone who wants and can afford one will be able to buy it. Will post when I get it…

Good place to buy the D3
I’m expecting mine on Tuesday from the Indianapolis dealer. Got a call from my vendor this week to confirm credit card information. Can’t hardly wait.
