Lightroom 1.4.1 to be available by end of April

While this isn’t strictly a D3 post, found out from Tom Hogarty of Adobe today (while at Photoshop World in Orlando) that the company would replace the ill-fated 1.4 version of Lightroom with a bug-free 1.4.1 version by the end of April…and, according to Tom, they have fixed the Mac OS 10.5 printing with profiles issue (if you have this problem, you know what I’m talking about…)

They’re HEEEERRREEEE!!!!!!!

I got the call from my camera store in Orlando today…they expect my camera to be in next Wednesday! Other stores across the country are reporting receiving their initial shipments of D3’s, with most, if not all, going to preorders. I called and got myself on the preorder list the morning after the product announcement, so I’m not sure what the situation will be for those of you who didn’t get on any lists-who knows, maybe Nikon will be able to produce plenty of them, and everyone who wants and can afford one will be able to buy it. Will post when I get it…
